February 8-18: Create essential business documents to demontrate your learning of Advanced Microsoft Word

Beaver Mountain Bike Tours has hired you to update some of their business documents. They are glad to have you on their team, as written here in their welcome letter and work order. You should create a new folder on your desktop called BM Bike Tours, and this is where you will save your assignments.

Beaver Mountain Bike Tours has the following deadlines for you and other students hired into the Information Processing Department (note that you can use Project Templates in MS Word rather than creating these from a blank document):
  • Due: February 16,17 - Create new Letterhead
  • Due: February 18,19 - Create a Price Memo (note - don't worry about making it the simplified memo style. The important thing is to write a memo. Here is an example of a memo written by an employee of Barnes & Noble )
  • Due: February 22,23 - Create a Business Card
  • Due: March 3 - Create a Promotional Letter

Can't figure out how to do something in MS Word? Get help from: other students, Help Menu in Word, Atomic Learning (click on Resources at the RUSD Dept of Instructional Technolgy) or ask Mrs. Weiss
